Theories

Throughout the millenniums, mankind has been plagued by the question of multitudes of philosophical questions.  Through perseverance and great intellectual curiosity, many of these questions have answers.  Long have they pondered these questions such as: “why women must attend to the bathroom in groups?”, “how many holy grails are in existence?” “when you spit upwards will it fall into your face?” “How many coconuts grow in England?” 

While great minds debate these questions, there are other questions such that plague us why women when attending to bathroom must take their friends and all personal items?  The Girl Scout theory is decent reason for this occurrence.  The only issue with this theory is many women have not been Girl Scouts so that theory may prove to be problematic at the core.  However there is enough evidence that if women see others doing this as a norm it will be considered society's norm.

The other theory is that Since the beginning of time women have traveled in packs to be safe yet this has continued throughout history bringing us 1700^th century when girls were taught to be in  groups of women or other girls until their marriage.  This was to help keep the girls virtue and cleanness.  As we ended the 19^th century women began to be more independent yet we still seem to depend on other women even in the 21^st century.

Another theory for this phenomenon could be that while men have been able to keep company outside the bathroom women use the bathroom to discuss personal things such as the man they are with, or the terrible date they are on.  This would explain the long lines and long time it takes for each person to return from the bathroom.  As the women have not the ability to connect outside the bathroom it has become the society's norm for that place of congregating.  

The forth theory to look at is sheer boredom they bring the women with or congregate to not be bored with the task they are currently doing.  They need the distractions of other women who are also bored to be comforted with their task at hand.

  As Professor Hill stated, “Why can't a women be like a man?” this sentiment is allows for the idea that women do this to be stubborn, and mysterious.  They wear makeup to be looking different during the courtship phase.  They want to mystery to continue by constantly putting men in questing the ideas of why they congregate in the lou.  

This question has yet be completely be answered.  However, through meditation, self-inquiry and theoretical logic, one of the unanswered questions has been answered. Women will continue to aggravate men and keep the mystery but as far as that goes if the mystery is over then life would be dull.  There are NO coconuts that grow in England they have to be imported by the African Swallow.
