The reason I like trippy movies is because they're intense and open your state of mind on a totally different level. Some of these movies are pretty radical to the extent your mind might not be able to contain the awesomeness of what's happening. Trippy movies are pretty inspirational for those with an artistic type of thinking. 

#1: Across The Universe~ This movie is very musical and very mind distorting, its inspirational, and a story of Jude and his romance and struggles of how to get his goals. The whole movie is detailed, the actors are also singer there is Jude, Jimmy Hendricks, Janis Joplin, and Juliet. They are imitation legends of music and some of the actors are better at singing then the real ones. In my opinion John Lennon would be proud of the way the movie turned out.

#2: Alice In Wonderland~  There is the old  movie and the new movie as well, the old one is in cartoon form, and it's story is trippy. At first the movie is hard to understand but at the end of it you understand. In the new version you understand what going on, also it's using just animated figure, it uses animated figures and real people as well and it's drawn in detail also. The story is about a girl who goes to her own created land and makes peace,by going through trials she understands she is the only one who can make a difference. 

#3: Rosemary's Baby~ This movie is trippy because, Rosemary and her husband Guy move into an complex building with devil worshipers living around her. Her husband secretly makes a deal with them for her to have the devils baby and they drug her and half awake she gets victimized by the devil himself. In return Guy gets famous and eventually she figures out what's going on during her pregnancy. Then she determined to make the ultimate decision.

#4: Casino~ Parties, gambling, life of being a boss. The intense movie is based on Ace, a member of the mob who owns and run a casino and it's trippy because of the events that take place with his wife Ginger, his best friend Nikki, that are crazy. Nikki betrays his best friend Ace, not only by having Ginger cheat on Ace with him but also goes behind his back and try to have him killed. Ace is determined to still keep his job and his daughter safe through the events that take place in this trippy movie.

#5: The Devils Rejects~ This movie is based on a family of killers and how they get away from the police. They kill, torture, and party in the process. Meanwhile the sheriff who is to find them is going crazy. In the end it will trip you out what's happens in the end. They cop catches them, tortures them, and then gets killed by the friend of the rejects, then the crew goes out on a suicide mission to attack and kill the remaining cops who want them dead.
