Top 5 Questions

Stop asking! - Top 5 Questions You Should Never Ask Someone Who Is In Rehab

#1: Do you want to get high?
This is just the most ridiculous question ever and it makes you look like a fool. Truth is, this person may want to get high, or maybe not, but they are in rehab! And they are in there for a reason. Obviously the way they were living and the choices they were making while doing drugs just wasn't working out for them. So what makes you think that getting high with them is going to help out? Let them do what they have to do.

#2: Why are you in rehab?
Well let me tell you, this question is pointless!  This person is in rehab, well because of drugs! There is nothing more crazy to ask to someone whose in rehab. You might just not get a reply, and if you do then it is probably going to be a very sarcastic and maybe even rude answer because you should know this. No one is going to be in rehab for getting in a fight or missing school. It's just common sense guys!

#3: What drugs did you do?
I don't know about other people, but me personally I don't like being asked this question.  All people in rehab have different opinions. Some really don't mind. For me, when I meet new people and they find out I'm in rehab, it's a lot better for me if they just don't ask what I did, because honestly that doesn't matter. That's something that's in my past, and I'm sober now, looking to live life differently, to make friends differently.

#4:When do you get out?
Honestly, people that are in rehab have no idea when they're getting out. So don't ask it, just don't do it. They might go in with a date around the time you should be done, but let's be real, that is probably not going to happen. You'll find yourself in there much longer than than you expected because you find that you have way more issues and problems than you thought, getting sober doesn't happen over night, and its impossible to go in there for a few months and come out cured.

#5:What are drugs like?

First off, this question is really hard to answer with great detail. And I don't think I'm the only me who thinks that. Telling you what drugs are like sober is way different than if I was messed up on drugs telling you what drugs are like, I would probably give you some crazy ass, eccentric explanation that doesn't make any sense at all because you have no idea what I'm feeling. I'm going to be straight up, if you really want to know what drugs are like, go out and try it for yourself, but as a warning, you just might be the person who gets sucked into the world of chaos and insanity.

Those are good questions not to ask I just got out of rehab. And I hate it when people ask me these questions. I would just look at them like they were reatarded. At least I'm not the only one that has been thro it. My favorite question to answer is " when do you get out" I'm always like " um let me think when they say I'm can hell if I know".

The best question I think is " Do you want to get high." I like it because I hate this question being asked to me. I am in rehab and many people haved asked me that question. There's was only one time when someone asked me this question and I actually gave in and got high while in rehab. But now I know the consequences if I do get high.

This is good. It seems like commen sence to me because it's such a touchy subject. I've never been in rehab but I did a lot of drugs and I don't like those questions either.

This is really good! The first question is my favorite. You'd have to be a pretty dumb kind of person to ask that. This was a good subject to pick because it tends to be quite a touchy subject. I know someone who just got out of rehab and all these questions would apply to what not to ask them.

Shaye this is great! It's so true, I'm not necessarily in rehab but I've been through enough experience to know that we hate being asked all these. Ecspecially like, do you want to get high, like I'm in states custody because I got high. of course I want to do it again! It's also, I want to change I want to be a better me. Let me be who I am. I think this is the best post I've seen yet!

My favorite question is the last one. This question is so pointless. Also this might be a touchy subject for some people.

The thing with this one is, the answer to each one would be so obvious. Yet, we still ask these questions. Despite the fact that we probably already know the answer, we still do. Why? I couldn't tell you. But we just do. So don't do it.
