Do/Don't Essay

Let me tell you the best-kept secrets about playing football. It's easy to an extent. The two hardest things I never thought I could never do we're 1. Learn how to block the right way and 2. Learn how to tackle someone the right way.

DO: Make sure you have your pads on right, because if you don't and you go and tackle someone or they tackle you then it will hurt like no other. "Trust Me I Know."

DON'T:  Wear a small helmet to make your big head look small. It will squeeze your head and it will also hurt to get hit with it on. I also know what that feels like.

DO: Put your cup (jock strap) on correctly, because if you don't it will not end so well for you.

DON'T: Try to act like your some big tough guy and not wear your cup (jock strap), because if you do not wear it, I guarantee you will regret not wearing it. I've done it once or twice and after those two times I never did it again.

And finally, DO: Take the time and learn how to play football correctly, because if you don't then you will get ran over by every one and most of all you will most likely get kicked of the team.

But for the love of everything holy, DON'T: Think your better then everyone on the field, because if you do then the coach will make you work extra harder and longer. I tried that and the coach made me practice 1-hour longer then everyone else. I ended up throwing up when I was done.

I remember when I played pee wee football when I was little. I didn't put the pads on right I was hurting all day. I didn't know how to tackle right either so, I would just run into them and get hurt worse then I was.

I really like your list because I used to play tackle football in seventh grade. I really like how you said to make sure your pads are all on the right way, because I had mine on wrong one time and it ended very badly. I think a "DO" you could add to your list is, make sure to always wear your mouth guard!

I like you described the stuff you have to put on , it was very informative and I liked that. I also liked how you specify that you " need" to wear your jock strap. I also like how your concern for safety.

I used to play football in junior high school. I totally understand on the cup thing bro, it hurts. I agree people should learn how to actually play football the right way. Nice paragraph explains how football actually is.

I have played football, and my first year playing I didn't know how to put my pads on. I was embarrassed when I went to practice and had to ask someone to help me put them n, but in the end I would rather put them on, then not and get hurt.

Full on collisions are the best during a high school game. Forgot you play football and you love it. In my situation football is just another hobbie of mine. Mainly, because I played it since peewee year. Would like to play football with or against you so I could see what you got. Show you some moves while I'm at it too. Guu Job A-Ron.
