I think because you were in a gang and you went through all of it. I can relate to this because I was in a gang as well and I started to get caught up and everything so now I just don't do it no more. My questions is what made you stop?? I like this memoir because most people dont really like talking about it
I was in a gang too so I know exactly what you have been through. I'm glad that you are growing up and now realizing things. That is not the way to live. I'm sure you have some crazy adventures with the hood you banged. But stay strong & in there :)

What made me stop was me realizing that my homies never really had my back because all they wanted from me was either drugs or me to fight there own battles you know what I mean? The gang life is a dog eat dog world, to many homies ain't got your back. I'd rather have true homies then fake homies feel me. Hope this answers your question Kimberly.
You should be a motivational speaker, you could go out in this world and keep people of the streets . You should be proud of yourself because you did what you felt was right . So thank you for writing this.

Yes it does. I've been ther done that so I know exactly how it is. I've been around gangs since I was 12 so it's hard trying to stop but I'll get there soon. Towards the end it's worth it even if you start missing the streets its best to just leave it but hopefully I'll get there soon.
