Things that Should Die with 2013

Half Shaved Heads Should Die With 2013..

One reason I think they should die with 2013 is because I think it's ugly, and I think to myself, "Why not just shave the whole thing?" Don't get me wrong, some people look exceptionally good with it, but it just ain't some peoples thing. Do what you want wi your hair, but my opinion is that it's not attractive to me.

Another reason I think it should die is when one person shaves their head halfway, someone else does it, not usually because they want to, but because so many other people have it, without realizing that it isn't their individual style that matches with them.

I really don't know where the trend even came from honestly, but I haven't liked it ever since it came. It's always annoyed me. Some celebrities did it, and then people around me started doing it and it just wasn't "them", so to speak. I am not usually one to judge, but when something is right in front of me and it's just wrong, I am the type of person to stick my two sense in. I think people should know when they are walking around town looking dumb, so I  give myself a thumbs up for being blunt. I just don't like the half shaved head idea. Having only half a head of hair, you won't have to use as much product, or spend as much time on your hair. The whole idea of hair is to take care of it and style it nicely. Everyone is their own person and can do what they want, but I don't like it.

However, I do admit that on some people it looks really nice. I just think you have to have a certain facial feature that accents the hair. I also think you have to have a certain facial shape. I don't think those with round faces look good with the hair idea. A more squared off face would make it look better. Some things just aren't for some people. I don't think I would be attractive with half of my head shaved. I'd look half male and half female. I personally don't think that would be a good thing.

In conclusion, everyone has a different opinion, but I believe I stated mine clearly, and with a great purpose. As I said in the beginning though, everyone is their own person and they can do whatever they want with their hair and their bodies. The only thing I can say to those who want to do this to their heads, look at all of your alternatives, weigh your options, but always go with your opinion. Don't let my opinion or anyone else's stop you from pursuing the things you want to do. Beware though, I might stick my nose in your business. ;).. I wouldn't worry too much, I just don't really like this trend.

I can't say some people don't match it but it's only for some people. I think if u can pull it off keep doing your own style.

It's hard but we also can't change how people want to be. We all had a hard time when we have to choose to get our hair cut. I had trouble with this because people always want me to cut my hair. Honestly I love my hair long and no one is going to change that. We should just let people choose what they want right. Even if it should die with 2013.

I agree that half shaved heads should die within 2013 because it does not make you look cooler. It's not a professional look. I also think too many people are doing the same style. There is not oringal style.

Danyelle I loved your post. I loved how you were honest about how you feel. I agree that people who shave half there head are not attractive I really think its ugly. My honest to god opinion about half shaved heads is that it's your own hair yes but what if you decide you want to grow your hair out then you will have to shave it all off.

I would have to disagree with shaved heads dying in 2013. I feel like having something like that is way different and unique. I respect your opinion though because now days, there are TONS of kids who just do it to be 'cool' and to fit in with the crowd. That's what I don't like about it, however, it goes with tattoos and piercings. They either do it to be the same or to be unique in their own way and some people can pull it off and some just can't. If they are just doing it to do it, then that makes it just another stupid trend, but then again we'll never know what their reason was.
