All my goals are very similar. All the goals have something to do with my career. My main focus for a career is to join the military. I have always been told I was no good through out my life. I was always told I won't do anything good or productive with my life. So I want to prove them wrong and show I will be worth something and will be successful.
#! Stay out of trouble and don't break the laws-
Since I have gotten in to trouble and been in the system I have done a lot of thinking. Since I do want to join the military I need to have a clean record and not have any felonies. Since I do have a record if I want to join then I need to make sure I clean up my act so they will take and accept me into the military. I also wan't to have a clean record for other jobs so they don't think of me as a bad person.
#2 Graduate high school-
The military only takes people who have graduated from high school. However if you sign up for the military before you graduate they will help you graduate so they can keep you and train you more and better. I also want to graduate because I want to got to college to become an electrician. Electricians need to be good at math so that's why it is a good idea to do well in math and take a lot of math in high school.
#3 Get my record expunged-
After I turn 18 if I want to join the military they want to see a clean record. Even though you get your record expunged the military can still go back and check your records. When they go back and check then they will see you have had your record expunged they will see you have actually put an effort into your life to try and change because it is a long presses to get your record expunged.
#4 Join the marines-
I have always wanted to join the marines I don't know exactly why but it is. I want to defend my country. I want to support the country and watch it become a world power once again. Once I heard that the military paid for people to go to college if they were in the service I was stoked because that already helps me on one of my other goals. People ask me why the marines in specific and not the army, navy, or air force. The reason being is the marines have more options of career choices. Also they do a lot of things on American soil. If you have more experience then they will keep you here so you can do the thing you are good at instead of wasting someone intelligent who actually knows what they are doing because not everyone is skilled at that one thing you were. I also want to join because they give you more benefits after you retire.
#5 Go to college-
I want to go to college to become an electrician. If you want to be an electrician you need at least four years of training and four years of college. Plus I mine as well take advantage of the military paying for it if I join the forces.

Ian!! I love your goals. I know I've told you this before, but you're an incredible student. You're very smart and driven. You are definitely worth a lot and will accomplish many goals. I like all your baby steps that lead to your bigger goals. Usually teens forget about the baby steps. without them you can't ever get there. Good luck! I'm excited to see where life takes you! You're awesome. -Stacy, your health teacher
When I graduate from my group I will stay out of trouble and stay in school. The ways I will stay out of trouble is to think before I act, and to remember what happen in the pass. I will be active in high school football so I can be a professional football player.
Those are some really good goals. You are pretty smart so I bet you will accomplish your goals. I'm sure your going to stay out of trouble so it will be easy to get your record expunged.
