Things that Should Die with 2013

People have started doing really dumb things to make people think they are cool. They get this weird ideas from people like I'll Wayne like "swag". At one point I'll Wayne was reasonable to listen to but after he became famous he did what every mainstream rapper does and changed for his fans. After a while fans will realize that the change wasn't for the better. So if you idolize people like him you'll realize pretty soon that it isn't cool to be like him. People trying to be like mainstream rappers should die in 2013.

Most those rappers on the radio are fakes they do the same shit as all the others In the industry. It got old quick, almost every song has the same meaning just said differently but honestly these songs don't have meaning it just talking about what spend money on. Old school rappers and under ground rappers have real meanings in their songs about life. They aren't being unique or creative with what they do. Why would you want to be like them?

People hear what they say in their music and try and use it in their life to be cool. And I don't think it is cool, it's where very on got "swag" and "yolo" and all that stupid and it is annoying. It's just a weak way of trying to fit in realistically people fit in by being different.

I get it that people want to fit in but it's a bad way of doing it. Find something about yourself to embrace instead of using those wanna be's off of the radio. Mainstream rappers aren't cool they just some how convince people into believing they are.

So what I'm getting at is don't try and copy those weirdos on the radio. They are all doing the same thing and soon every one will catch on that they aren't good rappers and they aren't cool. Be yourself and not those radio people. I'm not saying to be like better rappers either. Don't be like any one but yourself and you'll go further.

Well let's agree to disagree because don't people always need someone to look up to. I'm sure we all can't just run away from our problems. I had hard times and I'm still getting over them. But its just good to be yourself nt try to be like anyone else.

I like how you said that most songs now a days say the same thing I can agree to that. They just talk about having lots of money, females by their side, and waking up in a new Bugatti. Blah

Damien even though I do not like rap music at all I really like what you said about how they are lame because all the songs have the same meaning. I also like how you said that the mainstream rappers aren't actually cool they just trick you into thinking they are. Even though I said I do not like rap whether or not it is mainstream, underground,or old there is one rapper artist that I like named Deuce most of his music has some sort of meaning to it where as mainstream rap doesn't.

There is all kinds of things that I can condem you in. Lil Wayne is rediculous. Maybe he had some good thing going for in at first but his songs were generally lame. Anyway beside my oppinion, I think what you are saying in this article is that people in general as well as famous people should be real and not act like a follower more of an independent leader.

I agree people should stop trying to fit in so badly they have to degrade themselves just to be accepted. Rappers aren't any good for being looked up to. There is always a vast popularity for these rappers to young kids but when you truly believe what they believe you go to far. Being yourself can be scary to do around other people that's why many choose another persona to fit into world around.
